At Careeocity, we aim to provide a fair and seamless experience for both Mentors and Mentees. This Refund Policy outlines when and how refunds can be requested.
1. Free and Paid Sessions
Some mentorship sessions are free. Refunds do not apply to free sessions.
Paid sessions are subject to the refund and cancellation rules below.
2. Cancellation Policy
A session may be cancelled only if the cancellation request is made at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
Cancellations made less than 30 minutes before the scheduled session start time are non-refundable.
3. Refund Eligibility
You may request a refund if:
The Mentor does not attend the scheduled session.
The session is disrupted due to technical issues attributable to Careeocity’s platform.
You were charged incorrectly due to a payment gateway error.
Refunds are not valid if:
A consultation session is scheduled to start within 30 minutes of booking.
You attempt to cancel within 30 minutes before the session begins.
You miss or do not attend a booked session.
You are dissatisfied solely with the Mentor’s advice or communication style (mentorship outcomes are subjective).
You violate Careeocity’s Terms and Conditions.
4. Refund Process
Refund requests must be sent to support@careeocity.com within 48 hours of the scheduled session.
Requests must include booking details and the reason for claiming a refund.
Approved refunds will be credited within 5-7 business days and credited to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
5. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be provided if:
A session was interrupted mid-way due to verified technical issues from Careeocity’s side.
Both Mentor and Mentee agree to reschedule but cannot find a common alternative slot.
6. Non-Refundable Services
Subscription packages or membership fees (if applicable in future plans).
Promotional or discounted sessions.
Sessions cancelled or missed in violation of the timeframe mentioned above.
7. Changes to This Policy
Careeocity reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
