CareeoCity is a peer-to-peer mentorship platform that connects students with verified mentors from top institutes. The platform exists to bridge the career guidance gap: giving every student access to honest, insider career perspectives from someone who has already walked the same path. CareeoCity is meant to connects mentors and mentees to foster personal and professional growth through structured guidance and learning industry insights. All sessions here are conducted online for convenience and flexibility.

CareeoCity serves two groups. Students — primarily in Classes 10–12 and UGs/PGs — who want honest, real-world career guidance beyond coaching centres and textbooks. And mentors — students and graduates from top institutes.

No. CareeoCity is an independent platform operated by Samadpath Ways Pvt. Ltd., Varanasi. We are not affiliated with any coaching chain, university, or edtech company. This independence is exactly what allows our mentors to give students completely unbiased, honest career perspectives.

Registration is free. A session price is reflected for each Mentor on the platform which is to be paid by the mentee to book a session. This price is fixed basis a discussion between the Mentors and Careeocity.

Browse mentor profiles on careeocity.com, pick a mentor whose background matches your interest, and book a 1-on-1 session directly. Sessions are confirmed once payment is processed. You will receive a confirmation with the session link and timing details over email.

1-on-1 session pricing currently ranges from ₹299 to ₹799 per hour, depending on the mentor and session type. Group webinar sessions are priced lower — starting at ₹99 — allowing you to learn from mentors at even lower cost.

Sessions are private 1-on-1 conversations tailored entirely to you. You can discuss entrance exam strategy, stream selection, life at a top college, research opportunities, internship tips, job opportunities, career path clarity — anything specific to your goal. Mentors are guided to give honest, practical answers, not rehearsed sales pitches or vague motivation.

Yes. ✓ Verified appears on every approved mentor profile. All mentors go through a verification process before going live — we check institutional credentials (college ID, degree proof) and conduct an onboarding review. Mentor profiles clearly state their institute, stream, and year of study or graduation.

In case of cancellation by Mentor/CareeoCity in any extreme circumstances, Mentee is eligible for 100% refund.

If a session did not meet expectations due to a mentor no-show or a significant quality issue, write to us within 24 hours of the session at info@careeocity.com or WhatsApp on 9151748428. We review all complaints and will offer a resolution — either a rescheduled session or a refund, depending on the situation.

Connect with CareeoCity customer service for this. If the issue is found genuine and sufficient evidence is presented for the same, appropriate measure will be taken and proper resolution will be provided to the Mentees.

Absolutely. Early career clarity is one of the biggest advantages a student can have. Class 9–10 students benefit greatly from exploratory sessions that help them understand different career streams before committing to a subject combination in Class 11 — avoiding costly course corrections later.

Mentors can be individuals who are at their final stages of their undergraduate studies, or post grads, current or completed PhD scholars, or working professionals. The primary requirement is a strong command and deep understanding of their respective field or niche. Career pivoters with valuable insights and experience are also welcome.

This is something which is discussed during the formal meeting with the Team CareeoCity before any person officially enrolls here as a Mentor.

Visit careeocity.com/mentor-registration and fill out the mentor intake form. You will need to share your institute details, stream, and a brief bio. After verification, your profile will be reviewed and activated. The process typically takes a few business days.

There is no mandatory commitment. You set your own availability and accept sessions only when you are free. Most mentors start with 3–4 hours per week.

It is prohibited for Mentors to connect with Mentees outside the platform and reserves right to CareeoCity to take strict actions as specified in the T&Cs.

Absolutely. You can list multiple areas of expertise in your profile.

This is finalized during on-boarding of each mentor.

Payments shall be auto-credited to the registered bank account of the mentor, subject to TDS deductions. This depends on the TAT for bank processing but may range from 2-4 working days.

Yes. All mentors agree to the CareeoCity Mentor Code of Conduct, which covers professionalism, punctuality, honest guidance, student confidentiality, and a strict no-promotion policy for third-party paid services during sessions. The Code of Conduct is shared during onboarding and must be signed before profile activation.

CareeoCity accepts UPI through our secure payment gateway. You will receive a payment confirmation via email immediately after every successful booking.

Cancellation or rescheduling requests made at least 36 hours before the session are accommodated without penalty. Requests made less than 24 hours before the session are subject to mentor availability. Refunds for valid cancellations are processed within 3–4 business days.

Sessions are facilitated via video call links shared through the platform. CareeoCity manages all scheduling, payment, and post-session feedback. Full end-to-end session integration within the platform itself is on the product roadmap and will be rolled out progressively.

CareeoCity collects only the information required to facilitate sessions. Student data is never shared with mentors beyond what is necessary (name and contact for the session), and is never sold to third parties. All data handling follows standard privacy protection practices.
