Personal and Professional Details

About Me

I am currently pursuing my PhD in Power Electronics at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, where my research integrates predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and real-time digital modeling of power electronic systems. My focus is on developing Digital Twin frameworks for railway traction systems to enhance diagnostics, prediction, and optimization of power performance. Before this, I completed my M.Tech in Power System Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar and B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Tezpur University. My work has explored Model Predictive Control (MPC), AI-based fault detection, embedded implementation using TI’s F28379D DSP, and renewable energy integration. I’ve authored several papers in reputed IEEE, Springer, and Elsevier journals and conferences and also serve as a reviewer for top journals like IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics and Control Engineering Practice. My academic journey has been driven by a single goal — to bridge the gap between theoretical control design and practical implementation, contributing to the development of intelligent and sustainable power systems.
