I started my career journey from a college affiliated with Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), now known as Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Generally, such colleges are considered Tier-2 or Tier-3 institutions, which means opportunities are not always as abundant or structured as in Tier-1 colleges. Despite this, I was determined to build a strong career in the tech industry. My journey began with a stipend of ₹6000 per month during one of the most challenging times—the COVID-19 pandemic. The job market was highly uncertain, hiring was limited, and competition was intense. However, instead of being discouraged, I focused on learning practical skills, gaining hands-on experience, and staying consistent with my efforts. Over time, through continuous upskilling, real-world exposure, and persistence, I progressed in my career and now earn around ₹1 lakh per month. This journey has given me valuable insights into how students from non-Tier-1 colleges can still achieve strong career growth with the right approach. As a mentor, my goal is to guide students who may feel limited by their college background or current circumstances. I want to help them understand the importance of building strong fundamentals, choosing the right skills, preparing for interviews, and navigating real industry challenges. I strongly believe that your college does not define your future—your mindset, consistency, and willingness to learn do. Having faced challenges like limited campus opportunities and a tough hiring environment, I can relate closely to students and provide practical, experience-based guidance. I am passionate about mentoring students and helping them confidently take the next steps in their careers.
