Personal and Professional Details
I am a quantum computing researcher with a BS-MS Dual Degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Berhampur and research experience at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, where I worked on quantum computing and quantum technology during my Master’s thesis. I was a DST-INSPIRE (SHE) Scholar and ranked among the top 1% of students in India through the Board Examination and the IISER Aptitude Test. My research interests include quantum computation, variational quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, quantum thermodynamics, and quantum technology. During my thesis work, I proposed the novel concept of a Quantum Thermal Field Effect Transistor (qtFET), which explores the control of quantum heat transport analogous to charge transport in conventional transistors. As a mentor, I aim to guide students interested in physics, quantum computing, research careers, higher studies, fellowships, and graduate school applications. I enjoy helping students build strong fundamentals, develop research skills, and navigate academic and research opportunities in emerging areas of quantum science and technology.
